About:
Starr’s art is driven by questions about love, brutality, greed, sex, violence and alienation. She’s interested in our animal aspects as humans, and how these relate to resilience and power relationships.
Born in Washington DC, Cristina has lived mainly in NYC, and now lives in London. She has background in religious studies (BA Brown U.), social work (MSW New York U.), and art (MFA Goldsmiths).
